# Note 1. Select API

1. The List of Exchanges available in the terminal. Exchanges with added API keys are colored white. Click on the name of the exchange to expand the list of added API keys of this exchange.
2. List of connected API keys. Default API key - this is the main key of the exchange. When switching exchanges in other windows of the terminal, this API key will be used by default first and main. You can change the Default API key in the "My API Keys window"
3. An API key with a tick in the CheckBox is the active API key for the viewed window. Switching between the keys switches the exchange and API key for that window.
